Trace Stolen Crypto
Paste your wallet address, the address you sent funds to, or a transaction hash. We'll check if the money was traced into a known cryptocurrency exchange.
How this works. This tool reads a static dataset built from on-chain analysis. We only know about wallets and transactions we have actively traced โ many scams are not in our index. A miss does not mean your funds didn't reach an exchange; it means we don't have a confirmed path. Always file reports with IC3, your local police, and the exchange you suspect.
What to do if we found a match
If we identify a known exchange in your fund trace:
- Save the terminal address we display โ that's where your funds were last seen.
- Contact the named exchange's compliance/security/law-enforcement portal immediately. Most major exchanges respond fastest to a request that includes the terminal address and your tx hash.
- File a report at IC3 (FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center) and provide the same details.
- Speed matters: exchanges can freeze deposit addresses, but only for a limited time window before funds are moved or withdrawn.
What to do if we didn't find a match
A miss here does not mean the trail is cold. It just means our public index doesn't have this particular wallet or tx. You should still:
- Visit our Victim Resources page for the full reporting checklist.
- Submit your scam domain if you haven't already โ that helps us trace more wallets in the next refresh.
- Reach out via the contact form if you want us to look manually.
